Don’t let this weeks list fool you, dear reader, it’s still hot here in New York. The temperature in my apartment has ranged anywhere from a muggy 75 to a beating 82 degrees for the past 7 days making my home life absolutely miserable; I am continuously checking the weather app in the hopes that the temps will soon drop but no such luck. My shopping list, on the other hand, knows no bounds!
Currently I’m being delusional about the weather and eyeing a handful of fine merino wool sweaters, loose silky button downs, oversize suede trench coats and dark wash denim. The vibe is effortless 90’s minimalist, model-of-duty, CBK*-core chic.

currently on the listé:
A long silk dress to pair with Birkenstocks for a quick bodega run.
A sleek, slender, low heel pair of boots so walking further than said bodega can commence.
Earrings that provide just the right amount of chunk to go from day-to-night — even if that’s just consists of going from work to home.
Lot’s of soft, light weight sweaters that are easy to throw over a tank and jeans or haphazardly tuck into a loose pair of trousers or leather maxi skirt.
A simple but beautiful bra to wear under chunky knits.
My favorite pair of denim, now in a darker wash for the fall. Depending on your height, these either hit at the ankle or just above which leaves the perfect amount of room to showcase a pair of tights/socks tucked into strappy heels.
As seen on my Instagram. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect throw-it-all-in-there bag for longer than I’d like to admit, this oversized tote from Banana Republic fits the bill! Tall, not too wide, structured, and comes in suede and leather!
An easy, ribbed dress for the days when jeans and tees aren’t gonna cut it.
A long time listé favorite. The Porto pouch; Stylish enough to carry on it’s own but also a perfect tote organizer to make finding your keys/wallet simpler!
A chic pair of sneakers that wont look dingy immediately after wearing. If you are nonplussed by the idea of having to consistently clean your shoes however, there is always the cream version.
For me, the perfect notebook has to be lined, wide-ruled but not too wide, with a soft cover and option to monogram. The Daily Edited’s A5’s have been my go to for the past few years and this chocolate brown shade is currently on sale!
post script:
a lil section for miscellaneous things because why not?
currently reading: I just recently subscribed to my favorite instagram bibliophile
substack: ‘no one asked’ and a the HURS official newsletter.watching: This week I swung by Metrograph to see the cult-classic Heather’s. Winona Ryder, big hair, bad teeth and 80’s catchphrases. It’s incredible to think that there was a time when bringing a gun to school might just result in a slap on the wrist. You can catch Heather’s at Alamo Draft House for the full cinema feel.
Bisous!
